Joseph | Newborn

Sweet Baby J is one lucky guy. His mom is such a kind, caring soul, and his dad is pretty funny and good at volleyball. At least, that’s what I thought when we played on a grass team together at Wash Park (back when my knees weren’t shot and I wasn’t so frustrated by my slowness and deteriorating athletic skill… but I digress). This adorable little guy was such an honor to photograph, and I spent much of our newborn session whispering in his ear about how cool his parents are. Okay. Maybe I shared an embarrassing story or two.

The greatest compliment for a photographer is when your clients come back and want to work with you again. I shot Mike & Helen’s wedding, photographed Helen’s beautiful baby bump, and then took pictures of their newborn baby boy when he was only 2 weeks old. I have loved watching my friends’ lives unfold and feel so thankful to have been witness to some of the biggest moments of their story. Sharing in their wedding, and now watching their family grow, it’s pretty awesome.
