Some clients don’t realize when I say a newborn session lasts for 2-3 hours, that it means they can kick up their feet, grab a cup of coffee, catch up on Facebook, and relax. Baby James’s parents were pretty excited about that news, and I’m hoping they enjoyed the break from baby duties. I definitely enjoyed my time snuggling up to their little guy, even if it did get a little messy at times.
My clients also might not totally get it when I say, “No big deal! I get peed on all the time!” … I think they always feel bad, despite the fact that this is what I do (not to mention, it’s what newborn babies do!) and I love every minute of it. Even the pee-soaked ones.
James is just about the most precious little thing, and his parents were so friendly and fun. This was truly one of my favorite newborn sessions, despite the “happy accidents.” And I think Baby Boy had fun too – I was even able to capture a smile! Welcome to the world, James. Your family is pretty stoked about your arrival, as evidenced by the way they look at you…
If you or someone you know is expecting a little one, get in touch ahead of time so we can schedule your newborn session!
