Family photos are a little overwhelming, aren’t they? To start, there’s finding the right photographer (ummmm, I happen to know someone who is really good. Just saying), then planning all the outfits, and getting everyone ready and out of the house, and arriving on time without losing your mind (why is this SO HARD?!?!), not to mention the actual photo session which involves wrangling children for an hour.
I get it, ya’ll. Just typing that made me tired. Traveling, holidays, exercise, maintaining friendships, leaving the house… all of it is harder with kids. But that doesn’t mean we don’t to it.
Take family photos. Do it. Those kids are growing up. Time feels slow when you’re in it, but OH MY HEART it all goes too fast and those littles won’t be little and those teenagers will be adults and it will make you want to cry. THAT is what is really overwhelming – how fast it all goes and how it’s actually impossible to push pause or slow down.
So let’s take photos. Let’s. LET’S! YES I AM YELLING AT YOU!
Look through this random assortment of some of my favorite photos, and then do it. Get in touch (here!) and schedule a session. I promise it won’t be as stressful as it sounds, and looking at your photos will make your heart feel full.
